The Thomas Rod Co. Shop

Located near the historic Penobscot River, just a short walk from the shop's original location, the Thomas Rod Co. began making hand crafted bamboo fishing rods here in Brewer, Maine over a century ago. Thomas rods have been known the world over as the finest fishing instruments money could buy.

We still are committed to creating a fishing rod that will be a joy to own and cast. Since reopening the shop, we have strived to create bamboo rods that Fred and Leon would be proud to call Thomas rods.
